Nick Hernandez

I’m Nick Hernandez, a Graphic Designer for a small office in my hometown of Albion, Michigan. A big part of my work is logo design, but I love manipulating and editing images when the opportunity presents itself.

Music plays a major role in my creative process as it often jumpstarts the tone I want to relay in my work. My go-to platform for digital art is Photoshop as it constantly tests my abilities as an artist on what I know and what I can learn in the program. I’m constantly excited to learn new techniques and discover new ways to distort and create new realities through my work.

If you’re ever passing through the Albion area, keep an eye out; you may see some of my work on billboards or the local businesses.

About Me

Artwork

From stories told to the mysteries still unknown of what lies beneath, I may always have some fascination with water; just as I will always be afraid of it. Inspiration comes from a song by Blackbriar, of which I title this piece after. To see a storm come in over large bodies of water is an interesting sensation. A wave of eerie calmness seems to wash over you, and for a brief moment, there is a sense of beauty in what you see in front of you – until the crack of thunder breaks you out of the trance. It is very much the alluring call of a siren and a solemn reminder of the dangers.
