Kelly O'Neal

Kelly O'Neill, a native of Michigan, born in Detroit, who currently resides in Brighton, Michigan, has undergone a transformative journey from a 34-year career in marketing at General Motors to becoming a professional artist in 2018. Embracing metal sculpture as her primary focus, Kelly's recent retirement from her marketing profession has allowed her to exhale and delve deeper into introspection and thoughtfulness in her artistic endeavors. She now devotes careful attention to the construction and meticulous production of her works.

Working primarily with Metal, Clay, and Glass, Kelly employs recycled steel for her metal sculptures, which are skillfully finished with Powder Coating, Paint, or natural patina. In her ceramic creations, she combines wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques, firing them with custom glazes. Her art represents a fusion of Iron and Earth, harmoniously intertwined in each unique piece she creates
