I was born in Mexico City where I earned a Master's degree in art history. I have lived in the United States for several decades, currently in Marshall, MI. Initially, I learned painting from my mother. I have taken classes and workshops from nationally known artists since the late 1990's. I am also an art collector. From 1999 to 2018 I had an art gallery in Vicksburg, Michigan, and have exhibited my work in galleries in Kalamazoo, Marshall, Three Rivers and Battle Creek. I work in acrylic, pastel, and mixed media; these are my tools of expression. My paintings have an impressionistic style. I'm part of the Battle Creek Society of Artists and Los Artistas of the Great Lakes.
